Political Europe is a blog about the EU politics from the European citizen perspective. The citizen writing is Piotr Maciej Kaczyński, an experienced Europeanist, who has researched the EU, has worked in the EU institutions and trains people on the EU decision making processes.

“Political” is also the adjective used by President Juncker in his description of the European Commission under his command. President von der Leyen talks about the “Geopolitical” Commission.

This blog started initially as a part of the #Gimme5EU project on the European Elections 2019 in Poland. Then, it was co-financed by the European Parliament (2019, January-September). Since October 2019 this is a freelance project supported by the author alone.
